So far, no good!

Last year's first Chiffchaff was 17/3.  So far today, all quiet at Wessie H and thereabouts.

What was on show at 'the back of the fire station' was a duo of SEOs, half a dozen Oycs, Reed Buntings, corvids and gulls, Mallard, Teal, a Wigeon drake and a pair of Gadwall.

Of to Arcot in a mo, so will update again later.

It's now later.  Arcot was, by its usual standards with many of the ducks gone.  Half a dozen Wigeon and Tufties left, with some Teal, pleanty of Coot and my first Little Grebe of the year.

The entrance to the Northumberlandia mine was the next stop, with Slylarks, Lapwings, a Hare and a Fox.  All very nice!

Back to Wessie, now owl-less, but two Siskin north, 18 Oycs, mixed gulls on the water and little else.
