Spring nears and within days the first Chiffchaffs and Sand Martins should hit the patch.
Meanwhile, a bit of a run over the past couple of days, with
Pintail (a stunning drake) and two
Shelduck at Arcot on Thursday (and still there today), and at Wessie this morning, the year's first
Redshank. Nice!
This afternoon, nowt at Northumberlandia (the fun starts nearer dusk) but three flocks of LBJs over and so a wee trek located a flock of some 40
Linnet in the wood to the west of the Azure Garden Centre.
